Til Death do us part?

Jack was humming cheerfully as he opened the
heavy drapes in their bedroom. She was still asleep, looking so angelic. He laid
out the new dress he had for her then leaned in to kiss her gently.
"Wake up birthday girl...."
He helped her to sit up and lovingly brushed out her golden locks. She so loved
it when he did that, she said it made her feel tingly inside. He carefully
helped her dress, caressing her soft skin, knowing it made her excited.
He had made her favourite breakfast, strawberry pancakes with powdered sugar on
them, bacon and fresh orange juice. He stole kisses between bites... planning on
making love to her after she opened her gifts.
He had gotten her a beautiful necklace of silver with a pendant shaped like a
kitten. She loved silver and adored small kittens....
They went back to bed and he made slow, gentle love to her... relishing the feel
of her in his arms. Afterwards they bathed together, where he made love to her
once more.
After a special lunch and an even more special dinner he took her for a car
ride... to a chapel where a priest waited. tonight they were going to get
married... after many years together.
He brought her to the priest who gagged and began to back up at the horrific
scene before him. Jack scowled.
"What's wrong? Haven't you ever seen a woman before?"
The priest ran, locking himself in his office to call the police. He was
retching as he reported the details... that a man stood in his church... wanting
to marry a mummified woman.
Jack was just helping her into the car when the police came... he was helpful as
they carefully explained they were taking them to another priest. He hugged her
and smiled. He always told her not even death would ever part them....
