Frozen Beauty

Her silence was like a fence. A ten foot tall one made of stone. One would have
better luck with stone in fact. She walked through the crowd, face set, eyes
looking straight ahead.
People moved out of her way, for her attitude was like frost from the coldest
part of Antarctica. She was frozen beauty, simple beauty... but beauty
nonetheless.
Her eyes were of deepest blue, lips full, lush. Her body was ripe, screaming of
sensuality. Her long hair was raven black, hanging down her back in shimmering
waves.
But her body language told the world she was alone... utterly and completely
alone. The silent fence around her proclaimed it clearly.
Admiring glances were cast her way, but she ignored them. She made her way to
her plane, eyes cold and hard. No one dared speak to her, no one dared stare.
She boarded, settled into her first class seat and sighed. Here she had no one
sitting by her, no one touching her. She declined a drink and leaned back to
close her eyes for a bit.
No one bothered her... no one said a word. The flight was peaceful for her. When
she landed she took a cab to the ocean and stood there watching the waves. It
was here that they had met, fell in love. It was here his words had ripped her
soul from her.
She had tried, but her heart was frozen solid. The lies had turned her to stone
inside. She left everything behind as she stepped into the crashing waves. In
her purse was a note to him, telling him of what his deeds had wrought. She sank
into the frigid waters, going to where she would be alone for all eternity.
