Personal Traits: Tokor walks with a decided limp and uses a cane. The damaged leg is covered in scars from the numerous surgeries it took to reconstruct it. He generally speaks with a soft, rich tone that is almost comforting.

Personality: Ravik is a very intelligent and educated man. He is inquisitive by nature, well spoken and thoughtful. He thinks carefully before speaking, sometimes hesitating when the proper words escape him momentarily. Though he is in a very public position, he tends to be quite private when not attending his duties. He is also a very fair man, trying to ensure that all parties in an arrangement come out justly if not happy.

Early Life: Tokor was raised as a Legate's son in Lakarian City. His status granted him the best education available. As he grew up, he heard many tales of the Occupation of Bajor. Though he never voiced the emotions, he felt cheated that his father was away from home so much. He had a close relationship with his mother, working to help her with his siblings while his father was away. At the age of 9, he was taken to rendezvous with his father at Terok Nor for a visit. What he saw there horrified him. His father quietly told him that this was what had to be done in the moment for the greater good of Cardassia, but it was clear to the boy that his father's faith in those statements was waning. In his late teens, his station allowed him some moderate freedom and he became associated with a group known as the Oralian Way, which was attempting to study, understand and bring back the ways of the ancient Cardassians, the First Hebitians.

Other Personal History: Ravik's life was greatly changed in 2375. He had, just a year previously,  married a woman with whom he had been in love for some time, Anja Morak. He lost her and their unborn son in the Dominion attack on Lakarian City. It was during this attack that he was nearly killed and crippled in his attempts to rescue them from their home. His mother and siblings also perished in the attack. His father, Legate Narok Ravik, was nearly killed in the uprising against the Dominion and is recognized as a hero for his efforts. He now sits on the Detapa Council, the ruling body of the new Cardassian Union. His experiences with the rebuilding of a decimated Cardassia and his lessons with the Oralian Way, pushed him to help bring change. The Detapa Council, eager to help the Federation see their effort to truly reform Cardassia, quickly employed Ravik and many other young men and women with similar vision as Ambassadors.
