Personal Traits: Daniel has a well toned, muscular build and keeps himself in excellent shape. He walks with a sort of subdued confidence and usually has a hint of mischief or amusement in his eyes. Has a small raised Aborigine tribal tattoo on his chest over his heart symbolizing the Dream Time.

Personality: Daniel might be considered the typical nice guy off duty. He has a sort of quiet charm and a generally friendly, good humored nature. On duty, he is an excellent officer, always striving to get the job done in the most effective and efficient way possible. When it comes to flirting, he's a little dense and tends not to realize the woman is attracted.  He has a very strong sense of right and wrong and can be somewhat shy when certain subjects come into discussion. When it comes to combat, he tends to be a bit wild and unorthodox, seeming to feed on the adrenaline rush.

Early Life: Daniel grew up in the Australian outback with a rather large, close family. They lived on an old sheep station which had been converted to be the central complex for a vast game preserve which the family ran. Being one of the middle children, he was somewhat over-protected, but that didn't stop him from being adventurous and enjoying the wilds of the preserve. He was quite friendly with the natives and learned a good deal about their culture.

Academy Life: Daniel was more interested in classes and graduation during his Academy days. Though numerous opportunities to date presented themselves, he never seemed to notice and missed out on them. He did however have one very brief relationship with a fighter pilot cadet named Amy. She found someone else a few weeks after they started seeing each other.

Cadet Cruise: Mostly uneventful. Again, he passed up many opportunities for relationships, being more concerned with earning his promotion to Ensign.
