Personality: Ruby is cynical, jaded and very afraid. She acts tough and cocky to hide the fact that she is uncomfortable in her new life. Her life has left her with a very cautious nature and a general distrust of all things Fleet, especially Security. She has a natural compassion that she keeps well hidden, seeing it as a weakness that could get her killed. She relaxes only around the few people she trusts... her family and a few members of the crew who have earned her trust.

Early Life: Born in a dirty apartment she was being used as a sexual toy from the age of six, perhaps earlier... her memories are sketchy. Her mother abused her in every way possible... as did the men her mother sold herself and Ruby to. Her mother abandoned her at the age of twelve on Olympia Station. She worked as a Dabo girl, performing 'special' favours behind closed doors, until she was rescued from that life by Capt. Thomas Majors, a renowned doctor from Starfleet Medical. Shortly after, she discovered by her father and took her place with him.
